Heaven in a bowl..

I've been waiting 12 months for this...

Just add pasta.

Divine.

Halved cherry/grape/pear tomatoes, shallot, basil, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic, cheese (Parmesan or in this case I used Piave). Less than 15 minutes from putting the pot on to boil to the first bite.

I was going to comment on your last post but got too indignant on behalf of Northumberland, so I shall just say that the tomato pasta looks beautiful and I am now (temporarily) regretting giving all our ripe tomatoes to our eldest son because he lives too far away to have them as often as we do. He'll do almost exactly the same as you have here.

I'd know that pasta anywhere. :<) What a grand time of year for food. I just went out to pick potatoes and I got some of the drying out shallots from the porch, and guess what supper is tonight!

That looks really good. I just picked a ton of tomoatoes too.

GeraniumCat, oh, dear, I do think the author is very happy there, if that is any consolation! I'm sure your son appreciates those tomatoes as much as I do mine.

Nan, I thought you would! I need to make those potatoes - I have some shallots so will do that soon.

Bermudaonion, come on over! I'll be eating this as much as possible in the coming days.

Chris, indeed!

Ti, thanks - lucky you!

J.Danger, yes, yum!

Gentle Reader, thanks, and thanks for tagging me - I'll check it out.

Lesley, it is, and I'm having it again tonight!

That looks totally delicious. My family are all carnivores, though, and I don't think they'd go for it. I would love it,however! :)

Mmm, this looks lovely! I think I'll have a variation of it for supper tonight.

Danille, thanks! Mine are too, but I can force the vegetarian issue a few times a week. Actually, this was just for me. Ha!

Memory, thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy it.
